11 am–12:30 pm and 1–2:30 pm
Join us in celebrating Doug Aitken: New Horizon, a nomadic artwork installation presented as part of The Trustees’ Art & the Landscape initiative. Have fun with art-making activities for all ages, participate in a sculpture quest, enjoy treats from a variety of food trucks, and explore our 30-acre Sculpture Park—all while experiencing internationally-acclaimed artist Aitken’s stunning, reflective hot air balloon.
Event is rain or shine! In case of severe weather, we will cancel by noon the day before the event.
ALL PARKING IS OFF-SITE FOR THIS EVENT. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR PARKING AND SHUTTLE DETAILS.
Please note: Family Day has two timed tickets, 11 am–12:30 pm and 1–2:30 pm. The balloon will be deflated at 2:30 pm when the second Family Day time slot ends. However, all visitors may stay to explore the Park and Museum until 3:30 pm, when the campus will close and the last shuttle will leave.
